75 Years Ahead of Its Time
Exactly 75 years ago, no one realized that a timeless legend was being born. Born in the small, hill-surrounded town of Malvern in England, the Plus Four was destined to become an icon that would spread across the world over the years—something no one could have foreseen. Since that day, the Plus Four has inspired enthusiasts of handcrafted workmanship, classic design, and pure driving pleasure for 75 years.
First introduced in The Autocar magazine on September 29, 1950, and unveiled at the Earl's Court Motor Show on October 27 of the same year, the Plus Four elevated the Morgan brand to a whole new level when it joined the product range. Known for its flat radiator design in its early years, the model acquired its iconic lines in 1954, which have been preserved to this day. Its elegant curved fenders, hand-crafted hood grilles, and foldable soft top combined with its lightweight body to create a unique identity. These iconic lines were the most important factor in the creation of the Plus Four classic and its legacy to this day.

Alongside its timeless design, the Plus Four always prioritized performance and driving pleasure. Its success in motor sports, one of the biggest showcases of the era, cemented the model's sporty character. Its victory in the 1962 Le Mans 24 Hours race cemented the Plus Four's place in the history books. The Plus 4 SuperSports with license plate TOK 258, driven by Christopher Lawrence and Richard Shepherd-Baron, cemented the legend by achieving this great success.

Today's Plus Four
Over the past 75 years, the Plus Four has continuously evolved, yet it remains the brand's purest expression of a sports car, staying true to its fundamental formula. The CX-Generation aluminum platform introduced in 2020 and BMW's turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine have given the model a modern driving character and greater precision.
Despite this, the spirit of the Plus Four still relies on an analog driving experience. While innovations such as the Sennheiser sound system, Sport and Sport+ modes, and ESC refine the driving experience, they never compromise the pure driving pleasure at the heart of the model. Updates in 2022, 2023, and 2025 further improved the model.

Special Series for the 75th Anniversary
As part of the celebrations, Morgan is offering the opportunity to order just 75 specially produced Plus Four models. Customers will be able to freely choose their preferred exterior paint, interior leather, carpet, headliner, or accent color for these vehicles. Each car will feature a special “75th Anniversary” logo on the rear and will be available for sale in the UK starting at £75,000. Deliveries will begin in the summer of 2026.
A Tradition Continued by Hand
Since 1909, Morgan has been manufacturing sports cars at its historic facility in Malvern Link, still masterfully combining wood, aluminum, and leather. Each Morgan, crafted by hand, carries a unique character for its owner. Today, the brand's product range includes the Super 3, Plus Four, and Supersport models, all offering the driver the unique pleasure of analog driving. Morgan Motor is now meeting its enthusiasts in Turkey through the Yeniköy Motors dealership.
